🎮 Modular Inventory System for Godot 4 ðŸŽ®

Compatibility: tested with Godot 4.7 stable. Autoload `ItemDatabase` is registered when the plugin is enabled and removed only when it is disabled.

Current release: **1.3.0** 

The release is distributed on itch.io in two editions: a free Community package with visible DeepFlames branding and a supporter-only Commercial package with no-watermark rights, unlocked by any successful donation of at least $1. Build both `addons/inventory_system` archives with `./build_release.sh`.

**What you get**

- Inventory: stacking, weight caps, sorting, validated/versioned serialization and per-item runtime identity.

- Equipment: 10+ slots, cached stats, equip/unequip helpers.

- UI: grid slots with drag & drop, rarity borders, badges (equipped/hotbar), tooltips, context menu (Use/Equip, Split, Drop 1/X, Move to Hotbar, Destroy, Inspect), hotbar 1–0, hover tooltips.

- Data: Item database loader (JSON/CSV/.tres), ItemData resource with rarity/colors.

- Demo: scene with placeholder icons auto-generated, save/load to disk, confirm dialogs, split/drop dialogs, benchmark hook.

- Docs: this README plus an edition-specific DeepFlames license.
